Business Development Intern - Tafel Scholarship

***For Pitt Business Students Only***

Business Development Intern

Area Our job is utilizing software, wearables, and AI to help Persons In Recovery (PIR’s) adjust their behavior to stay free from forms of addiction. The idea is to inject help when it’s needed most. Our approach is keenly focused on the PIR, and working towards assisting hospital systems, recovery centers, and individuals track and sway decisions that may lead to barriers to a successful recovery process. We have an exciting opportunity for talented interns to be a part of a project that is not only innovative, but is also for the social good.

Intern will conduct varied business development related activities. These can include, but are not limited to, financial projections and related tasks, business/commercialization plan updates, use of technical skills (if intern has those), presentation updates. Intern may also suggest projects they have skills or interest in.

We accept interns on a rolling basis in all areas and have immediate openings. Please don't hesitate to reach out with inquiries and resumes. We are open to interested people of any age, students, student groups, people switching careers and looking to gain new skills, etc. Interns have the potential to be hired onto the team afterwards. Time requirements are flexible and can be project-based or remote, but we strongly prefer interns to work with the team in the office.
Applicants interested in or experienced in clinical research, data science, machine learning, or software development are highly encouraged to apply.

Office Environment The Behaivior team works out of Pittsburgh, Pa and has a fun, flexible working environment. We are passionate and driven idealists, innovators, and entrepreneurs. Whether you're more introverted or extroverted (or an ambivert!) we have a place for you. We expect you to have a strong work ethic and to understand the gravity of the issue we are working on now (opioid addiction solutions).

We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and strongly encourage women, gender-diverse, LGBTQ folks, people of color, and any minorities to apply.
