Correctional Officer - Open Eligibility List

Provide safe and secure housing for inmates committed to the Eau Claire County Jail. The Eau Claire County Jail is a 24-hour operation. In a two-week period, Correctional Officers are scheduled six (6) 12-hour shifts and one (1) 8-hour shift, plus voluntary and mandatory overtime. Weekends are scheduled on a one-on / one-off rotation.

This application is for an ongoing Correctional Officer Eligibility list. Vacant Correctional Officer positions will be filled from this list. Applications will be considered active for six months or until notified otherwise.
