PROJECT ENGINEER & FIELD ENGINEER (entry level)

Career opportunities are available for graduates with Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, Building Construction, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering degrees. You will be responsible for engineering disciplines, estimating, scheduling, purchasing, cost accounting, legal, labor relations, field supervision, project administration and management as related to construction. Training is provided for all of these responsibilities. These positions report directly to a project manager or superintendent. A project engineer or field engineer must be willing and able to travel to job site locations across the country.

 

 

INTERN & CO-OP

Open to undergraduate students interested in gaining hands-on practical experience in the construction field. Qualified applicants will assist project teams in acquiring and managing construction projects, as well as assist in all phases of the process from bidding to final completion.

 

In addition to the general fields of construction, excellent opportunities exist for specialization in a field of your interest such as concrete and foundation work, interior finishes and design/build construction.

 

·         Assignments include office and jobsite locations; relocation to a remote site may be required.

·         Transportation is required.

·         Work periods are 10-12 weeks; 40 hours/week.

·         Housing may be provided in certain situations.

 

 

COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING

A mix of training covers company culture and job skills:

·         Formal training in how the company works and an overview of the construction process.

·         On-the-job training in all aspects of construction, one-on-one, from professionals.

·         Seminars led by experts to keep you up to date.

·         Employees are cross-trained in all disciplines both office and field.
