Cigna IT is looking for technology-focused individuals to join the Technology Early Career Development Program (TECDP) Summer Internship. The TECDP mission is to support the professional development needs of early career Information Technology (IT) program associates, as well as Cigna’s IT talent requirements by providing summer interns with challenging IT assignments, formalized training, and guided mentorship. The committed partnership between interns, program management, and Cigna's IT leadership is a testament to the value of the TECDP and the critical role it plays in developing Cigna's future IT professionals.

The TECDP Summer Internship offers students interested in the field of technology a realistic experience of what it’s like to work in Information Technology at Cigna. The internship is designed to develop an individual’s IT skills that are aligned with their interests. The TECDP program manager will work with the interns to determine the best role for them prior to starting. In addition to their role work, summer interns will have the opportunity to participate in an innovation project to solve a real-world Cigna challenge.

Opportunities for Interns are available in many areas of IT. Our Interns are treated as if they were full-time associates in the program and this opportunity could lead to full-time employment upon graduation.
